Wordle

For this week's blog post, I created a Wordle with all the words that can be associate with creating a, uh, blog post. When typing my words, I used the mentor writing style of Lydia Davis who simply explained everything she did in her writing process. I did just that, writing about how I write a blog post, what I'm feeling, and what I saw on the screen.

  1. Pretty interesting in how you were able to re-create what we did in class using your own words and ideas. I also like how you used Lydia Davis' style of writing which I also thought was cool too!

  2. It's interesting to read the words that came up in the wordle! And I liked Lydia Davis' simple and direct writing style too!

  3. It's cool how you kind of got two different ideas from class-the wordle and Lydia Davis' writing style-and combined them from your blog post.

  4. This is really interesting, Stefanie. I am writing a proposal for a chapter with a friend right now about what it is like to teach and learn using blogs. You are really helping me think about how the assignment and play parts converge.

  6. I like how you decided to be out of the box and used a wordle! I never would of thought of that. I like how you described everything that you used for your blog, like "safari, submit, tired." Totally honest. Gosh, I wish I would of thought of this. #teamjel :)

  7. I like the idea of a wordle. I was contemplating doing one for my blog just never really got around to it. I used that stream of consciousness mentor texts to help right my literacy narrative though. I really like that idea, and also I really like writing like that because you no longer worry about transitions. You just worry about the story and what is happening in the story. You also keep the story moving at a good pace instead of setting up different scenes. Thats cool that you did the wordle on creating a blog that is kinda funny in a way.

  8. That is cool, I have never made a wordle myself but many of my English teachers have made them. I think they are creative.
